• Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties.
• Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment, as well as the safety of our guests.
• Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials.
• Uphold AMC’s Business Practice Standards and ensure compliance with company programs.

SALES GENERATION

  1. Conduct a property walk each morning to inspect property for cleanliness, safety, and potential maintenance issues. Return shopping carts to their tenant space. Pick up trash in the parking lot and discard.
  2. Keep property drains clean, clear and fully functional.
  3. Address all leaks within the property. Report any roof leaks to the facilities manager that cannot be fixed in house.
  4. Power wash public walks and other surfaces on a scheduled and/or as needed basis. Must be able to operate a high powered power washer as well as to operate a truck with trailer attached.
  5. Ensure that the mall’s water fountain is maintained and filled to the proper level.
  6. Read and document designated water and electrical meters every month.
  7. Perform work orders provided by the mall management staff as well as security. These duties include but are not limited to: Painting, drywall repair, door repair, plumbing repair, and electrical repairs.
  8. Set up for shows and exhibits, as well as assists the facilities manager in the coordination efforts. This may include banner installation/removal, setup and removal of large art screen panels.
  9. Assists security in maintaining the on property vehicles such as routine maintenance and service.
  10. Makes sure that the contracted housekeeping staff as well as the exterior contracted sweeping company performing their duties to their service agreement’s scope of service. Also assist housekeeping in cleaning if requested.
  11. Review the weekly lighting and damage reports from security, write work orders, or make repairs.
  12. Communicate with tenants, on deficiencies or safety issues. Report these issues to the Operations Manager or General Manager.
  13. Safely operate a medium duty scissor lift safely to perform maintenance tasks.
  14. Maintain exterior traffic signage. Replace if needed.
  15. Assist security in traffic barricade setup and removal as needed.
  16. Keep maintenance shop clean, tools organized, and to provide lists to the facilities manager for any needed items. Maintain an inventory of consumable supplies and materials to keep stock up to date.
  17. Assist snow removal contractor if needed as well as apply ice melt in high traffic areas if the snow removal contractor is not on site or available at that time.
  18. Assist contractors in obtaining roof access or needing directions to their prospection destination.
  19. Notate and report any safety issues or concerns to Operations Manager or General Manager.
  20. Be able to adjust work schedule for emergency night and weekend calls as well as special projects.
  21. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  22. Other duties as assigned.
