Legends Outlets Announces 2024 Holiday Dates
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Oct. 28, 2024) – Legends Outlets is excited to announce its schedule of events for the 2024 holiday season. Returning to Kansas City’s premier shopping and entertainment district this November is the 19th Annual Legendary Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 16, Black Friday shopping on November 29, and 12 Days of Giveaways starting December 1.
Event details are as follows:
19th Annual Legendary Tree Lighting
Saturday, Nov. 16, 5-7pm
The Legendary Tree Lighting returns to Legends Outlets for its 19th annual celebration on Saturday, November 16, from 5 to 7pm. Shoppers are invited to kick off the holiday season with a live concert by Mr. Stinky Feet and the Nick Nave Band, photos with Santa, prize giveaways, character appearances, extra discounts, and family-friendly activities including face painting, balloon twisting, craft station, and more. The lighting of the tree will take place in the Central Courtyard at approximately 5:30pm, with festivities continuing until 7pm.
Legends Outlets’ 45-foot animated Christmas tree has more than 14,000 LED lights with millions of color combinations and special effects. The state-of-the-art light display that is synchronized to music will brighten spirits until early January 2025.
From November 16 to December 18, 2024, children can drop their letters to Santa Claus in the special mailbox located in front of the AMC entrance. Shoppers may stop by BAM! and pick up a blank Wish List to fill out during their shopping trip and are encouraged to include a return address so Santa can write back. The last day to mail will be Wednesday, December 18.

Legends Outlets is officially closed on Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving, and will open at 9am on Friday, November 29, for Black Friday shopping and all-day sales. Black Friday Weekend will include thousands of dollars in gift card giveaways, fun photo opportunities, and holiday movies on The Lawn. Shoppers will enjoy deep discounts at the region’s widest selection of brand-name outlet stores in one location – over 75 – including the first-area BOSS, Vera Bradley Factory Outlet, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Tory Burch Outlet, PUMA, Kate Spade Outlet, Michael Kors Outlet, J. Crew Factory, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, and more, making holiday shopping easy and convenient for everyone this season.

12 Days of Giveaways
The 12 Days of Giveaways begins Sunday, December 1 on the Legends Outlets Instagram page.
The giveaways continue every other day through December 12. Prize packages are typically valued anywhere between $100 to $600 and may include gift cards, designer bags and accessories, travel packs, KC sports team merchandise, beauty and self-care bundles, and other various items from Legends Outlets retailers.
